Tricalcium Phosphate-Soybean Oil in Fortified Processed Cereals to Suppress Insects, Dusting, and Separation

MATERIALS & METHODS 1975). Exploratory tests with TCP in other USDA cerealbased food blends revealed other problems, such as separation in products with larger particle sizes. The objectives of this research were to investigate addition of TCP in combination with soybean oil to other fortified processed cereal products, and to assess the effects on dusting, separation, insect suppression, and product quality.
